CWU Child Gesture Study
Central Washington University's Jason Wallin is conducting a new study of gesturing in young children. Share home video of your child's first, second, and/or third birthday parties and help us make new discoveries today!
We're looking for kids from anywhere in the United States, kids who fall into one of three groups:
- kids with autism spectrum disorders, like autism or PDD-NOS
- children with other developmental disabilities, like Down syndrome, mental retardation, and so on
- children with typical development
Don't have all three years on video? Don't worry; we can still use those years that you do have.
Help us discover more about gesturing in children's earliest years, and maybe even discover new ways to improve early diagnosis and treatment of autism and other developmental disabilities.
We just need you to share the movies that you already have at home.
